Meet The Principal

 

 

           Dr. Zenab El Kady is a highly motivated, out-going, enthusiastic educator with over 23 years of experience in school administration.  She was born and raised in New York and is a product of the New York City Public School System.  Dr. El Kady has worked as a teacher, coach, assistant principal and principal.  Dr. El Kady earned her Ph.D in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in 2021.  She has earned a Master's in Education in School Building Leadership from St. John's University and a second Master's in Education in Early Childhood Special Education from Fordham University.  Dr. El Kady is a graduate from The City College of New York School of Education where she earned her Bachelors in Science in Education.  

           Dr. Zenab El Kady currently holds four New York State Professional Certificates in K-12 School Building Leader, Birth-Grade 2 Early Childhood, Birth - Grade 2 Early Childhood Students with Disabilities and Childhood Education to grade 6.  Dr. El Kady has mentored many new and aspiring principals and specializes in building school infrastructure and professional development.  Dr. El Kady is a mother of four and is an aspiring CrossFit athlete.  Her hobbies include swimming and reading.  She participated in the CrossFit Open 2017 - 2021 and hopes to make it to the top of the leaderboard and compete in the Games one day.
