Welcome to the 2023-2024  school year! Our commitment at Al-Madinah Middle School is to ensure and provide for all students a healthy learning environment encouraging students to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and inspired learners and thus, contributing productively to the 21st-century workplace and positively influencing the communities they serve and live in.

At Al-Madinah Middle School we believe that every child can learn. With this underlying philosophy, we create an environment for nurturing the whole child's development creating multiple pathways to meet their educational, social-emotional, and psychological needs.  We caress our students’ growth through a sound character education inspired by our Islamic values; we help shape their friendships with peers and secure their relationships with parents, teachers, and other adults affecting their lives. We strive to promote social and critical thinking skills that facilitate sound decision-making while dealing with issues affecting their everyday lives both inside and outside of school.

At Al-Madinah Middle School, our teachers serve our students by creating learning opportunities that promote collaboration, critical problem-solving, and intellectual risk-taking. Instruction is designed by integrating research-based strategies, technological tools, and resources to enhance learning. Our teachers are involved in an ongoing professional and collaborative learning process where new knowledge, exemplary teaching practices, data-based decision-making, designing instruction, and peer observation/feedback are well-established norms.

When your student steps into our school, he/she enters an environment where high expectations, standard-based instruction, integration of 21st-century learning skills, sound religious character education, and whole child wellness are some of our essential values that will touch and shape his or her life!
