^{Al-Madinah School is a proud participant in the COMPASS SONYC Program. We have a reputation for running the BEST program in the New York State area. COMPASS NYC's middle school model also known as SONYC for School’s Out NYC serves as a pathway to success for youth in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Structured like clubs, directed by student leaders, the model offers young people a choice in how they spend their time; provides rigorous instruction in sports and arts; and requires youth leadership through service. SONYC is a program designed to serve young NYC students by providing learning opportunities that go beyond the classroom. We, at Al-Madinah School have the program embedded into our curriculum. Through this program we enrich our Middle School students with STEM and Leadership building activities and we continue to cement their literacy and mathematical skills beyond the classroom.}
