High School Girls Division
Assalamu aleaykum, welcome to high school girls grade 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
Physical Education is "Education through the physical". It aims to develop students physical competence and knowledge of movement. Its safety, and there ability to use these to perform in a wide range of activities associated with the development of an active, and healthy lifestyle.
The main purpose of and well being with the curriculum for excellence to develop the knowledge and understanding, skills, capabilities and attributes necessary for mental, emotion, social, and physical well being now and in the future.
Physical activities can help the students improve the absorption of nutrients in the body. It also helps to improve cardiovascular health and develop muscular strengths. When students remain inactive through out the day, they can be at risk of various cardiovascular issues.
Units covered in 6 marking periods are:
1 MP: Volley Ball and Fitness
2 MP: Basket Ball and Fitness
3 MP: Dodge Ball and Fitness
4 MP: Fitness and Physical activities
5 MP: Track and field and Fitness
6 MP: Soccer and Fitness
