Kindergarten at AL-MADINAH SCHOOL

Kindergarten at AL-MADINAH SCHOOL is a new and exciting time for students to develop their social skills through group work as well as working independently on certain tasks.  Academic skills are enhanced as well where the students are learning their ABC's and 123's , phonemic awareness, print awareness, letter recognition, blending, segmenting, and rhyming words.  Math skills are taught as well on a daily basis, along with science and social studies being integrated within the English curriculum.  These are just a few skills being taught to your child throughout the year.  The curriculum is based on a Reading First program which focuses on small-group instruction and one-to-one instruction to meet the needs of each individual student. 

Beside the academic subjects, we are also keen on teaching them Quran, Islamic studies and Arabic to make sure that they grow up having the Islamic values in their characters and behaviors.
