Freshmen (Grade 9)
The accumulation of 7 credit Units are required for promotion to Sophomore status (Art and Health can be added for extra credit units)

Sophomore (Grade 10)
The accumulation of 21 credit units are required for promotion to Senior Status (Art and Health can be added for extra credit units)

Juniors (Grade 11)
The accumulation of 21 credit units are required for promotion to Senior Status (Art and Health can be added for extra credit units)

Seniors (Grade 12)
In order to graduate from High School and receive an Al-Madinah High School Diploma, all seniors must complete the total number of 29.5 credit units. The breakdown of these credit units are as follows:
  • 26 credit units: Care Courses
  • 2 credit units: Elective Courses (AP Courses)
  • 1 credit unit: Art
  • 0.5 credit unit: Health
Every senior must also pass the following New York State Regents Exams:
  • English
  • Global History
  • US History
  • Earth Science
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Math A
  • Math B
  • Integrated Algebra
  • Geometry
  • Arabic Language
